Behavioral/Mental Health Services

Students seeking mental health services from the SHWC Behavioral Health team undergo an initial assessment followed by the development of an individualized care plan. The individualized care plan may include recommendations for individual therapy, group therapy, medication management, or referrals to the community for specialized care. Our team is trained to assess and support a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, and trauma. Referrals to community providers may be necessary to offer more specialized support as needed.  The SHWC Behavioral Health team includes psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and professionals in-training.
