The Morehouse School of Medicine's Division of Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine is a composed of board certified specialists who provide consultation and intensive care services throughout the institution on a 24-hour / 7-day- per-week schedule at Grady Memorial Hospital and Morehouse Medical Associates Clinics.

The goals of our division are:

To deliver quality pulmonary and critical care medicine to patients with pleural/pulmonary diseases including asthma, pulmonary emboli, pulmonary hypertension, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD), interstitial lung disease, lung carcinoma, sarcoidosis, sepsis, ARDS, sleep disorders, and aspects of critical illness.

The section consists of four full time and one adjunct faculty appointed physicians. Drs. Eric L. Flenaugh, Marilyn Foreman, Marshaleen Henriques-Forsythe and Gloria E. Westney provide coverage for the Morehouse Medical Intensive Care Unit, and the Asthma/Pulmonary Consult services at both Grady Memorial Hospital and Morehouse Medical Associates.

Dr. Marilyn G. Foreman has completed a clinical epidemiology research fellowship at Harvard Medical School.
